Please check the rates of the well-known tutoring academies in NYC and see if you can find one lower than /hour. Of course, that assumes they let you pay by the hour. They don't. The big academies ask you for a large sum upfront.
I have been an SAT tutor every summer since 2006, recently got my B.A from NYU with Honors, and was a National Merit Scholar (reserved for the top 3.5% of PSAT test takers).
I would be happy to work with any student looking for a reasonably priced SAT tutor.
