I began my medical career as a Certified Medical Assistant/Secretary and after 11 years went on to nursing school to become an RN. My love for one-on-one patient teaching led me to return to the family medicine practice I'd previously worked in, where I stayed for 4 more years after I received my BSN. From there I worked as an Underwriter for a local insurance company upon completing my BS in Bus. Admin.After that I entered grad school and studied marriage & family therapy with a specialization in addiction treatment/recovery. Upon graduation I realized that holistic nursing was my passion, and I've devoted my life to learning, teaching, and practicing it ever since. I've always loved to learn, so with holistic healing, the universe's the limit . .I love my work, my patients, and most of all . .offering them solutions to quality of life that the Western medical model is too limited to give by itself. I look at the Western model, assess the facts, listen to their story & look at Eastern
