I have 3 yrs. of experience in teaching Physics, Math in India.I love teaching because I think this is the field in which you get really a new challenge everyday.I think i learned more as a teacher than as a student. Everyday you have to be prepared for any possible questions that your student might ask.
I believe in teaching the basics/fundamentals of every subject. If they get that then I don't think they will find the subjects boring.
Like in physics you can tell them how, why and when about your surrounding. Talk abt Rainbow to rockets, microwaves to ultrasonic waves, and star to the whole universe.
In math its good to tell them why they are learning the graphs, fractions, exponents i.e where they will see them used in their daily life.
Right now I'm tutoring a couple of high school kids.I started from the scratch, what is motion and what is mass.and no need to tell so far its going great and like fun:)
