I am a native Rhode Islander, which means that I grew up listening to many languages being spoken in my small town. I was always interested in listening to these languages, and started my language study in junior high school.I have continued my studies to the current time, going to French and Spanish speaking countries frequently, and continuing to take classes. I enjoy tutoring because it is such a joy to see a formerly struggling student do well in class. I also have tutored teachers in Texas who need to pass the TOPT Test in order to keep their credentials.

Education:
I have a B.A. degree in Education, French and Spanish from Rhode Island College. I have studied in France and have taken classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level to further my education. I also have a Texas Teaching Certificate for French and Spanish. I began classroom teaching in 1972, and have been both a classroom teacher and a tutor since then. I have also tutored ESL and English-Reading.
