Having lived in Texa s for 32 years, I feel as though I am a native of this great state. However, I am a native New Englander, being from Rhode Island. So I moved from the smallest state to the largest of the 48 contiguous states. I began my study of French in the 7th grade, and of Spanish in the 8th grade. Followint that I continued to study both languages through my bachelor's degree and beyond. I enjoy tutoring because I am able to work with students of all ages and nationalities. Besides French and Spanish,I also tutor reading, ESl,TOEFL,Elementary School subjects, and study and test taking skills. I especially am happy when a student who has not understood a concept suddenly has a "light bulb moment" and understands that concept.

I have a B.A. degree in Education, French and Spanish from Rhode Island College. I have studied in France and have taken classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level to further my education. I also have a Texas Teaching Certificate for French and Spanish. I began classroom teaching in 1972, and have been both a classroom teacher and a tutor since then. I have also tutored ESL and English-Reading.
