I am a certified teacher who now works exclusively as a private tutor. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (including Honors and A.P. classes). I have been working professionally as a teacher and tutor for ten years. I recently moved to Los Angeles from New York City where I was a tutor for an elite tutoring company that worked with students from some of the top private and public schools in the country. Private tutoring grants me the one-on-one time to pinpoint a student's strengths and weaknesses, and tailor our lessons accordingly. I am relatively young, so I relate very well to my students...they would describe me as organized, knowledgeable, and funny. I think that there is a place for humor even when learning science and math!
I have helped students prepare for many standardized tests including the ACT, PSAT, SAT (math, reading, & writing), SAT Subject Tests (Bio E/M & Chem), as well as AP Tests (Bio & Chem).
