Tutor Professional
Think of me as a coach--helping you develop the analytical skills, conceptual understanding, and mathematical abilities so that you can succeed in your physics and/or math classes. (A lot of it is helping you learn how to learn.) Teaching & tutoring allow me to be a part of that "ah-ha" moment when a student understands a concept or problem, and I especially love working with non-physics students in high school or college. Is your classwork disorganized? Do you freak out during quizzes/tests? Do you study a lot, but don't seem to be making any headway? I can help with that, too.
As a teaching assistant in graduate school, I've taught over 600 students, working with individuals and groups. I've also tutored high school students, helping improve their performance by a whole letter grade.
Every one is unique in their approach and learning style. You'll probably be surprised by how much you already understand; some things may just be getting lost in translation.
