Tutor Professional
I have been working with children with special needs for 5 years as a teacher's assistant both in the classroom and in the student's home. My experience has been with children ranging in ages from birth-grade 6. I have worked with students with various disabilities including: Down Syndrome, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, and the physically/mentally disabled. I am currently working as a preschool teacher and while I really enjoy it, my true passion is working with those with special needs. I believe all children should be given the chance to develop to their full potential and can do so with lots of love and patience.

At this time I hold an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences. I am currently attending Cal State Fullerton pursuing my BA/MA in Communicative Disorders to become certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I have also taken coursework in sign language, special education, and child development.
