Tutor Education
Education:
I have a BA in Literature/Gender Studies from New College of Florida. I am currently enrolled as a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) student in English Education at the University of South Florida - Tampa. I have a teaching certificate in English 6-12; however, I have also tutored elementary students in reading/math. I have several years of experience working as a SAT/GRE tutor for a professional tutoring company. I am also qualified to tutor students for the FCAT, all basic subjects at the elementary and middle school level, math upto Algebra I, History/Social Studies, and beginning and intermediate French. I have taken Advanced French, French Literature classes, and spent a semester in Senegal (West Africa). I also have experience as a private tutor. I have also spent a semester substitute teaching.
