Tutor Professional
I'm a product of an experiment in public education. I took part in the 1973 standardization of the Stanford-Binet IQ test. After that, I was selected into Oak Harbor's Challenge program. I was given the opportunity to ask any question I really wanted to know.
I wanted to know how brains work. Imagine my surprise when no one knew. So I've been thinking about how brains work for the last 34 years, and I'm only 43. I won the 1982 National Honor Society Poem of the Year for _The Well of My Brain_. But then I didn't write anything worth the ink for 18 years. I went WWU, but the computers weren't up to the biofeedback project I had in mind. My efforts, to change horses in midstream, failed. I remain all-but-thesis.
I'm a devoted student of Zen, comparative mythology, psychology, and life.
