Tutor Professional
Hi! I'm a student at Northwestern University but live in the Chicago suburbs and will be at home during the summer. I'm not a licensed teacher but I LOVE working with people and helping people understand concepts! My expertise is in history, English (grammar, proofreading, for example), and political science/government. I do, however, know math but the only math I feel comfortable teaching is up to high school and also standardized test math. If you're about to take the ACTs, SATs, or SAT IIs, I can help you prepare. I've learned many techniques that have helped me achieve success on them. (This is not for purposes of bragging, but just to give you faith in my abilities - 2100 SAT, 32 ACT, 800 SAT II US History.) I'm patient and encouraging, and I can definitely help you get ready for a test that I remember pretty darn well! I have a very open schedule this summer. I will be traveling until the beginning of July and perhaps later on for about a week.
