My field of expertise is in psychology, although a great deal of the work I do with children with pervasive developmental disorders could very well be described as one-on-one teaching, which includes language, reading, writing, and math. I also have experience in substitute teaching (grades K-12), teaching graduate level psychology courses, and tutoring in college-level algebra. I would describe my approach to teaching as individualized, behavioristic, creative, and most importantly fun. Every person learns in a slightly different way, which requires innovative teaching and motivational strategies tailored to that particular individual's needs.
